§ N° 01
A studio built on balance.
We began as a small studio in the heart of the city, driven by a simple belief that architecture should be felt as much as it is seen. For years, we refined our craft through residential projects, learning that a single material, chosen with care, carries more weight than a thousand decorative ones. That conviction is what we carry into every new space we design today.
The studio you find today was not planned. It grew slowly, the way a practice should — one project at a time, one referral whispered between clients. We focus on bespoke solutions, not out of exclusivity, but because the work we want to make requires hours of conversation, sketching, and silence. A home, in our hands, is not a transaction. It is a sanctuary.
Minimalism is often misunderstood. People imagine it as the absence of something — the absence of warmth, of texture, of presence. We see it as the opposite: the presence of restraint. Every element we place in a room is one we have chosen not to clutter with others. The empty space is the composition. The breath between walls is the music.
"The empty space is the composition. The breath between walls is the music."
We work exclusively with natural materials. There are mornings we spend hours sourcing the right stone or timber for a single detail. The site must be read. The light in the room must be right. The client and our team must arrive at the same temperature of intent. Without that, the space will know, and the space will tell — for the rest of the owner's life.
Our city has been generous to this kind of practice. It has a long memory of craft kept quietly — stone masons, woodworkers, metal smiths — and our studio sits comfortably in that lineage. We are not interested in volume, in trends, in the visibility that comes from fleeting fads. We are interested in spaces that will still feel honest in thirty years.
If you are reading this, you have likely already understood something about why Artwaka exists. The door is open on purpose. The process is patient on purpose. What waits on the other side is not a service, but a collaboration — between your story, our vision, and the discipline of a design moving slowly across the page of your home.
